About Your Instructor...
Michael Fairman
Mike is a former NHL and AHL scout with Team 33 and former Florida Panthers amateur and professional scout and adviser. In his time with the Panthers he developed and executed a program to gather and analyze strategic personality and human performance measures via structured behavioral interviews and assessments. Mike provided guidance on organizational and player-related strategy, with a focus on innovation and gaining tactical and strategic advantages. Mike has spent the last ten years researching psychological characteristics that are related to player performance and potential, connecting with many leading national and international academics and researchers to identify key criteria and measurement tools.Ā Mike earned his MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and his BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point where he also served as Captain of the Hockey Team.
